Questions

Suffering and Evil

Why does a good God allow pain?

Christianity does not offer a tidy solution. It offers a fallen world awaiting renewal, a God who entered suffering himself, and a promised end to it.

Lament is treated as faithful speech, not weak faith. Job protests, the Psalms complain, and Jesus cries out from the cross.

Key verses

  • He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more.

    Revelation 21:4
