Short shared summaries of Christian belief.
The Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed are the two most widely used. They summarise belief in the triune God, the person and work of Christ, the church, forgiveness and resurrection.
They function as guardrails, marking the boundaries within which Christian teaching has historically stayed.
